Culinary degree or relevant culinary education is a plus. Flexibility in schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Position Overview:
Hermitage Country Club is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Morning Banquet Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in supporting banquet and event operations by ensuring all ingredients and dishes are prepared to the highest standards. The ideal candidate is an early riser with a strong work ethic, a passion for food preparation, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ingredients for banquet service, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning
  • Assist in the preparation of hot and cold menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies for banquet execution
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations
  • Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to meet production timelines for events
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef
  • Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety practices

Schedule:

The FunZone is a childcare center for guests' children ages 1-10 years. No experience necessary. On site training! Gain work experience and expand your career skills in Leadership, Communication, Decision making, Creative thinking and more. The person for this position must have a positive personality and willingness to learn. This position will be responsible for maintaining a safe and fun environment for young children, while helping to foster early development. We offer a great benefits package including free employee meals, free golf on Monday's, and a generous PTO program. Weekend availability is a must.
