Pool

Open Memorial Day thru Labor Day.

1.  Those using the pool must register at the Bathhouse. Please show your membership card to the attendant on duty. Adults accompanying small children may register them if the children intend to use the large pool or the wading pool.
2. A parent or guardian, at least sixteen (16) years of age, must accompany all persons under the age of 8 years.
3. The large pool and the wading pool shall be used only during scheduled hours, except when prior permission is obtained from the General Manager. No one shall be permitted to enter the water unless a lifeguard is present.
4. The wading pool is for the enjoyment of non-swimmers only. Those who regularly use the large pool shall not be permitted in the wading pool unless for the purpose of assisting small children under their care.
5. Any child who uses the wading pool shall be accompanied by an adult who shall be, at all times, prepared to enter the wading pool in the event the child under his supervision experiences any difficulty in the water. Hermitage Country Club will not be responsible for parental negligence in this respect.
6. The shallow end of the large pool is intended for use by learners and not as a play area for competent swimmers.
7. Persons in bathing suits are not permitted on the practice or putting greens, on any part of the golf course and tennis courts, or in any part of the Clubhouse, provided that those adults having lockers in the Clubhouse shall be permitted ingress and egress to and from the Clubhouse in their swimming attire.
8. Swimmers who come in contact with the ground in or around the pool area shall take a shower before entering the pool.
9. Those with an infection shall not be allowed in the pools.
   
10. All running about the pools or playing tag, and all roughness or horseplay in the pool area, are strictly forbidden. No ball, other than a lightweight beach ball shall be permitted inside the pool area, except during supervised games.
11. Not more than one diver shall be permitted on a diving board at any one time. There will be no running on the diving board. The only entrance into the diving area shall be from the diving boards, except when the area is used for supervised games.
12. Those wearing flippers or facemasks shall not be allowed in the pool.
13. Small inner tubes shall be allowed only for inexperienced swimmers. No other floating devices will be allowed except on designated days.
14. The use of glass containers in the pool area is strictly forbidden.
15. Only the food and beverages provided by the Club shall be consumed. It is the responsibility of all individuals to dispose of their used food and beverage containers in the waste receptacles provided.
16. Any use of the pool by parties exceeding ten (10) people must have the prior approval of the General Manager.
17. Adult swimming: fifteen (15) minutes out of every hour, may be designated as an adult swim, at which time all persons under the age of eighteen (18) must be completely out of the pool every hour on the hour starting at 12:00 noon.
18. Infants must wear cloth diapers and rubber pants in the large pool.
19. No squirt guns or chewing gum at the pool.
